Sydney Early-Mid Career Academic Network (SEMCAN)

SEMCAN is a community of academics across the University of Sydney, supported by the DVC Research Portfolio. Their mission is to facilitate cross-pollination between disciplines and contexts among early- and mid-career academics at the University of Sydney. These activities are open to all academics regardless of academic focus (research, teaching, research and teaching) or position (permanent or fixed-term). There is no need to formally join SEMCAN. If you consider yourself an early- or mid-career academic at the University of Sydney, you are already a member!
